Sale!
I don’t post a ton of deals on my site but here’s one that’s very practical for just about everyone I know Tomorrow only, Target offers 10% off all gift cards as part of it’s Weekend Deals promotions. The gift cards are discounted in store and online. Looks like a $300 maximum gift card purchase, but it may be possible to purchase an online and in store deal separately and max out the deal. For those that already have the Target Redcard (credit card) that earns 5% cash back for every purchase, this added promotion may not be a big deal, but for those who don’t it’s a nice way to save money that will be spent during the holidays. FYI, using the Target Redcard would not entitle you to earn an additional 5% cash back on the promotion.
Per the press release, Target says that it’s the “only time of year that it discounts gift cards”, so it’s a nice deal to capitalize on even if 10% isn’t huge. There’s opportunity to resell gift cards too on sites like Raise, and Cardpool too if you don’t actually plan on using them. You can also try stacking some cash back or added points via a shopping portal if you plan to buy the gift cards online. Gift cards are sometimes excluded from extra rewards via shopping portals, but it doesn’t hurt to try. Check out Evreward and Cashbackmonitor to see what rates and extra points you may be able to add to the deal.
